I receive a missing DLL message when launching mozaBook.

If you use one of the N versions of Windows 11, that is, a version that lacks built-in media and communication technologies, then the mozaBook software will not launch. When launching mozaBook, the following message will appear:
As mozaBook requires this media package, you must install it manually. To do so, follow these steps.

  • Open Settings (1), then click on System (2).
  • In the Optional features menu  (3), click on View features (4).
  • Enter Media Feature Pack in the search field (5).
  • There will be only one result, select it (6),  click on the Continue button (7), then on the Install button (8).

The process can take a while, and it is also possible that the system will fail to install it on the first try. According to our experiences, on a second attempt, the process will be faster and the media package will be installed successfully.

After restarting the system, you will be able to launch mozaBook.

Did you find it helpful?
